This dress was definitely a showstopper. The beautiful gold silhouette could’ve easily been too much for the red carpet but the beautiful detail made it truly spectacular. Jessica Biel’s simple hair style and minimal make-up complemented the bold gold look perfectly. She looked stunning in this outfit.

Teraji P Henson’s look really screamed vava voom on the red carpet and didn’t leave too much to the imagination. It takes a confident woman to pull this look off and Teraji P Henson did it justice. She complemented the look with a beautiful bold necklace and softly tussled hairdo. Heads were turning when Teraji arrived at the carpet in this outfit.

This dress created a lot of talk on the internet. Some people really loved this throwback to the classics look while the apron like embelishment on the front of the dress confused others. Whether you loved or hated this look Dakota Johnson definitely made a bold statement with it. She complemented her look with a simple pinned hairdo and a bold necklace.

Emma Stone’s dress was my second pick for the best dress of the Oscars 2017 night. She channeled her spunky character in the movie La La Land with this playful and modern take on the flapper dress. The look was then complemented with a bold dark lip and simply beautiful drop earrings.

While not exactly the same you can get a similar look with this – Camille La Vie (Lace Applique V-neck Dress)

This was my favourite look of the Oscars 2017 red carpet. Janelle Monae looked absolutely magical in this Elie Saab dress. The delicate and intricate details of this dress made it look almost Cinderella like. Not everybody can really pull this look off but Janelle Monae is definitely the woman this dress was made for. There is truly no substitute for this amazing look but you can get other great looks by Elie Saab like the one below.
