How To Achieve Easy And Perfect No Makeup Look!
There are a lot of ladies out there that head out into the sun daily while applying layers of makeup on a regular basis. This sounds both unrealistic and too time consuming. However, we all wish to look flawless with clear skin, pink lips, rosy cheeks and long lashes. Achieving this look is possible with minimal makeup and a few tricks to follow. And then you are all set to go!
Here are those simple tips and tricks that can help you achieve a perfect no makeup look. So, what are you waiting for? Read through and thank me later!
No Makeup Look Tip #1 – Start with SPF Moisturizer
Your daytime makeup routine should always start with a top-quality moisturizer for your skin type. Applying it will not only hydrate your skin and keep it supple, but it also helps in protecting the skin from UV rays and aging.
No Makeup Look Tip #2 – Sheer Foundation
Once you are done with moisturizing your skin. Take any foundation or BB/CC cream that has very sheer coverage and that settles in to the skin without leaving it too dewy or cakey. Apply it using your fingers as the results are more natural and it gets settled in to the skin better that way.
No Makeup Look Tip #1 – Conceal the Blemishes and Discoloration
You can skip this step if your skin is clear and you do not feel the need. However, if you do, make sure you have a concealer that matches the shade of your foundation. Apply it to the blemishes only and pat the skin. Do not rub it all over your skin as it will ball up and look really bad in the sun. Make sure you use a concealer for your under-eyes that is one or two shades lighter than your skin tone.
No Makeup Look Tip #1 – Define the Brows
Eyebrows enhance the shape of the face and make the features look softer when they are more defined. Take a nice brown eyebrow pencil or gel and fill in the gaps. Do not go overboard with it. Remember that you only need a little definition. Setting them with brown mascara only would do too.
No Makeup Look Tip #1 – Curl Up the Lashes
Mascara is the step that I can never skip. It adds so much to the beauty of the eyes more than any other eye makeup product. So, take mascara that does not boost the volume but only elongate the lashes and curl them up well. Apply it thoroughly and then separate the lashes with a mascara comb. Remove the clumps with your fingers for much more natural effect.
No Makeup Look Tip #1 – Rose the Cheeks
Adding some hue to the cheeks is a must. Now, if your pores are open, go for a powder blush. But I always prefer creamy blush for daytime as it blends well into the skin and looks more like a natural flush on the skin. Apply it using your fingers instead of a brush. Do not apply too much and only pat it on the skin instead of swiping it around.
No Makeup Look Tip #1 – Tint the Lips
Now, nobody misses this step. You can definitely apply a bold lip color if that is necessary for you even with the minimal makeup. However, if you want a perfect no makeup look, go for a lip shade that is the closest to your natural lip color. Try out the Charlotte Tilbury nude lipsticks, as they are very smooth and creamy and perfect for daytime.

I love no make up make up look! 😀 Thanks for the tips. Could definitely use them.
You’re welcome Tahna. I love the no make up look too. Pretty much all I go for except for special outings.
Thanks for the tips! My mama always told me that makeup was to enhance beauty not cover it up so I love the no makeup look.
Your mama was right. I totally believe that too. And that’s why I usually go for the minimalist makeup look. Thanks for checking out the blog 🙂
I’m more of a low maintenance make-up girl myself. I follow most of these tips except the lips. I’m too lazy for that!! Lol. The natural look is much more beautiful, I agree with that:)
Oh I totally agree with you Lisa. I’m the same way.
This is great! It seems like this would take little to no time to do which also helps! Gotta shop these products you mentioned!
Thanks Selina. Glad you enjoyed reading the article.
One of my fave looks. Thanks for these tips they’re great. Thanks for sharing a great post x
Awesome. My pleasure Tahnee 🙂
Where’s the example picture!? I love the no make up look as well, I’m normally just lazy and don’t wear makeup and pretend like it is my look lol.
Oh yes, I pretty much don’t wear makeup when running around. But I when I’m off to a meeting or an event 🙂
Some really good tip tips, especially about wearing SPF moisturiser. I generally do the no makeup look every day and find sun blocking moisturiser to be essential.
Oh yes totally agree with you Mary. It’s important to have some SPF in your skincare.
The sheer foundation tip is smart. No one wants to look like one color on their face abs another color for their body
That is so true. I agree that’s a great tip.
I am not so much into understanding these, but I’d prefer if a girl keeps the make up minimum. When I take portraits of women, is when i gloss over the light on their face and appreciate make up. That’s the route for me to understand it.
Ha ha ha Kartik. That’s totally understandable.
I love the no make-up look. I might do it right now actually!
Oh yes, that’s pretty much me almost all the time 🙂
