Best Spring Fashion Trends 2018 You Should Look For

Check out these awesome spring fashion trends 2018 #spring #fashion #trends #2018

1. Spring Fashion Trends 2018 – Fringe

Fringe is definitely one of my favorite styles so I was thrilled that it was all over NYC Fashion week runways. This style is very versatile and you can wear it in many ways. There’s fringe of the sleeves, and at the back of your jacket or blouse. You can find many cute shoes that have fringe details. Same goes for a fun fringe embellished statement bag. This style is that perfect playful look. If you ask me, because of the fun loving nature of fringe, this style makes you look younger and fresher.

2. Spring Fashion Trends 2018 – Western

The western style was all over NYC Fashion runways. This is not typically my favorite style. But you don’t have to feel like you escaped from the set of an old fashioned western movie. If done right, this look can give you confidence and sophistication. The key here is not to wear it from head to toe. You only need some subtle details such as a western accented jacket or as evidenced above a bit of fringe detail can also suffice. Or you can opt to add that western touch to you accessories such as a straw hat or cowboy boots.

3. Spring Fashion Trends 2018 – Red & Pink

This spring fashion trend 2018 is not for the faint of heart. It’s bold and it will make you stand out. It may seem like an odd combination to style red with pink. But these two colors can actually compliment each other well. When done as color blocking this look can be fierce and truly feminine. You can accomplish it by pairing a beautiful red and pink color blocked blouse with wide legged pants. Or apply the same reason to a mixed color dress. This color combination will surely work for anyone with a darker complexion.

4. Spring Fashion Trends 2018 – Lavender

Spring is normally synonymous with pastel colors and this year the color of choice is lavender. I’m very happy to see this color on the runway, as I’ve always loved this hue. It can be paired up with lots of other colors. For that soft touch pair it with white or opt for going all over lavender with a beautiful dress or a pantsuit. To transition the hue from day to night you can pair it will black accents such as a belt, shoes or a simple jacket. Lavender works with many different skin types from fair skin to darker shades.

5. Spring Fashion Trends 2018 – Dark Denim

Dark denim is another spring fashion trend 2018 I’m excited about. Why? It’s because dark denim is perfect for any shape and size. It’s very forgiving on the body and can easily hide many issues some of us may want to not bring unwanted attention to. We’re taking about big butts and wide thighs here ladies! Do you hear me! This darker shade of denim will have you strutting your stuff in no time. I already own a nice pair of dark denim Levis jeans that are my go to jeans for any occasion.

6. Spring Fashion Trends 2018 – Rainbow

The rainbow style is basically multicolored pieces. This look can be very slimming if done right. The best way to showcase it is to use cleverly placed color blocking. This is similar to the red & pink trend I mentioned earlier just done in a variety of colors. There were a lot of beautiful rainbow colored dresses on the runways of NYC Fashion week. And now you can find similar styles off the runway. Pick a slender, body fitting dress that will allow the colors to flow as you walk. This can definitely be a statement piece and make for a great entrance. Pair it up with solid color accessories and you’re ready to wow everyone wherever you go.

7. Spring Fashion Trends 2018 – The Fanny Pack

Okay I must admit this is NOT my favorite trend. I mean it’s a fanny pack right? I thought that was a fashion faux pas? No? I must not have gotten the latest fashion memo! In all seriousness though, whether you love or hate this spring fashion trend apparently it’s here to stay. Oh boy! Thankfully we’re not talking about the fanny packs of the 80s. Today’s fanny packs have come a long way. There are a variety of ways you can now wear them. There’s the hip-slung way, the diagonal way, there’s the minimalist style and of course the strap-on sporty style. So now you have a choice to pick the style that works for you.

I absolutely adore spring, and love seeing peoples outfits out and about in NYC! I am loving the red and pink, dark denim and rainbow spring trends. The fringe is cool, and I love seeing it on other people, but I wouldn’t be able to pull it off!

Oh I absolutely adore fringe but I get it, it’s not for everyone. I had these cute fringe detailed sandals that I just loved but they broke ?

I promise you that I will NEVER be a fanny pack wearer, no matter how trendy it becomes. Not in my childhood, not now! But I AM getting into the fringe and feather style earrings from makers like Finch Finery. You may really like her!

    1. thesavvydreamer says:

He he he I totally hear you and I’m with you on the fanny pack trend. Not for me either. I’ll have to check out the Finch Finery stuff. Thanks for the tip.
