Storage Idea #1 – Under The Sink Storage

One of the areas I knew I wanted to tackle in my home was the under-the-sink area in my bathroom. I can’t tell you how messy it was before I came up with a nifty way to store all my necessities. Consequently, I went on Amazon in search of a better solution. It took me some time to settle on a Stackable 3-Tier sliding basket organizer drawer. This handy sliding basket system requires no drills or power tools to assemble. It actually took me only about 10 minutes to set up. Not bad, huh? You really don’t need any skills to get it going.

It has a sturdy metal construction with an attractive chrome finish, and it’s exactly what I was looking for in my bathroom. In fact, I got two of these organizers so I can put them on each side of my under-the-sink cabinet, and they worked out great. You can even stack them on top of each other if you have enough height. How awesome is that?

Check out some before and after pictures of my messy under-the-sink area and how I improved it with this super cool way to organize my home.

Storage Idea #2 – Over The Sink Dish Drying Rack

Now that we’ve tackled the under-the-sink area how about something similar? I used to waste so much space with dish-drying racks that fit either inside the sink or on the counter. No more! Instead, I found something much better. That’s what I’m talking about, ya’ll.

I found this amazing storage solution on Amazon, and I haven’t looked back. Not only does it free up my second sink, but I don’t have to waste any space on my counter. No, sir. What do you think of that?

Storage Idea #3 – 3-Tier Kitchen Utility Stand

For a long time, I had a short kitchen shelf that housed our toaster oven and some pots and pans. It was too short for that purpose as we had to bend down to use the toaster oven. Needless to say, it wasn’t useful. Finally, I decided to look for a better option.

With a bit of research, I was able to source a suitable replacement with a 3-tier kitchen utility stand. Ever since I bought this stand back in 2021, it’s been a fabulous addition to our kitchen area. It definitely gives us more room on the counter and provides plenty of additional storage. I think you’ll love this idea.

Storage Idea #4 – Shoe Bench With Storage

Another idea I’ve had for a while was to be able to organize our upstairs home entrance. And the way I would like to do that is by getting a shoe bench with storage. Now, my problem is finding one that will fit our narrow doorway space, so that’s a challenge in itself. But if space is not an issue for you, there are plenty of options out there. Check out some of them below, and let me know your favorite.

Storage Idea #5 – Wrapping Paper Storage Container

I don’t know about you, but I’m a bit of a wrapping paper hoarder. There, I’ve admitted it, lol. I kid you not, though. I probably have around 45 wrapping papers for all occasions but mostly Christmas. And for the longest time, they were a pain in my you-know-what. I had them stashed behind my bed, and they kept falling over.

So I finally decided there must be a better way to store them. Um, aha! There is. I stumbled upon these awesome wrapping paper storage bags with a clear window that I think are pretty genius. They can be stored anywhere, such as behind the door, under the bed, in your closet, or on a shelf. And they have two handy carry handles. Not only that, but they also have a compartment where you can store bows and ribbons. And get this, I bought two of these and was able to store 40+ wrapping papers in them. Voilà, problem solved.

Storage Idea #6 – Bathroom Accessories

We recently moved into a new townhome, so it was time to upgrade our main bathroom look. I was looking for a clean way to keep all our countertop necessities such as soap, toothpaste, and brushes, and I opted for this 4-piece marble accessory set. Needless to say, it’s a great way to tie everything together while eliminating clutter. I also got a tissue holder and a matching shower curtain to finish the look.

Of course, marble might not be for everyone, but you get the idea. There are plenty of visual options available on Amazon, so knock yourself out.

Storage Idea #7 – Computer Monitor Stand Riser With Storage

Since I’m a writer and content creator I spend a lot of time in my home office at my desk typing on the computer. However, I started to get some neck and shoulder pain due to my desk not being ergonomic. So I had to look for solutions to fix that. I opted for a computer monitor stand riser that also comes with some extra storage and it has worked out really well.

I think something like this is a great idea especially if you spend a lot of time in your office.

Storage Idea #8 – Under The Desk Keyboard Tray

Speaking of ergonomics, there are lots of amazing ideas out there. In addition to my computer monitor stand, I also ordered this under-the-desk keyboard tray. It really helps me keep my hands in a more ergonomic position. This solution has helped ease my shoulder pain while typing a great deal, and I highly recommend you try it out yourself. Basically, it’s a lifesaver for me. And I hope you’ll find it useful for you too. For only about $70, you can save yourself a world of pain.

Bonus – Storage Idea #9 – Storage Cube

I completely forgot about another neat storage idea I implemented in my home and it’s this cube. I use it to store my shoes and some clothes. It’s very handy and before we moved we had it in our hallway. Now I had to put it in our bedroom. Regardless of the area you decide to have this storage cube in your home, I think it will be very useful.

Just so you know, it’s only really suitable for light items like shoes and clothing. I wouldn’t put any heavy books in there. It was pretty easy to put together and it comes with a mallet you can use to assemble it.

I was so hopeful when I recently purchased a shoe bench. It got used for a solid 1-2 weeks. Now the shoes sit on the floor mat inches away from the shoe bench 😂 Can’t teach an old dog (or children) new tricks I guess.

Oh my goodness, haha. You made me chuckle. I hear you. Oh well, you tried. I wouldn’t totally give up on it, though.
