How To Find Amazing Affordable Fashions

Now that the weather is getting better many of us savvy ladies will head out shopping to look for new and exciting spring and summer outfits. This time of the year is perfect to embark on spring-cleaning not only our houses but also our wardrobes. It’s only natural if you want to clean out your closet, get rid of clothes you haven’t worn in a while and make room for those great new finds. I’m here to let you in on my secret to finding amazing affordable fashions.

How To Find Amazing Affordable Fashions

Where To Find Amazing Affordable Fashions?

What’s my secret to finding amazing affordable fashions? Drum-roll … get out of town!!! Yes, you heard me right! Forget shopping in the big overcrowded city. Go outside the box, literally! I mean outside the big box retail stores. You need to venture out outside of your city to find great little shops that have many unique items. That way you’ll find things that are different and you won’t run into somebody wearing the same exact outfit. How annoying is that? I remember once I saw a girl wearing the same exact dress at a club I was at. I was mortified and I had to hide the whole night for fear of running into her. That was not an enjoyable night.

These days when I shop I always try to find things that are as unique as possible. Don’t get me wrong, I like to shop at places like H&M and Zara too after all they’re very convenient and also affordable. But the clothes there are mass produced therefore a lot of people shop there and after a while everybody ends up wearing the same exact thing. If you’re like me and want to stand out you need to head out off the beaten path to find something amazing.

Favorite Place For Amazing Affordable Fashions

My absolute favorite place to shop is ‘The Patch‘ in Sauble Beach, Ontario. I discovered The Patch when my boyfriend took me there on our first trip to Sauble and boy am I glad he did. He probably regrets that decision now because whenever we go back to Sauble I always have to check out The Patch!!! Actually, he doesn’t mind because we have fun browsing stuff there together. What I love about this place is that it has a great variety of clothes and the prices are killer. I’ve never bought anything there for more than $25. They even have designer clothes you can get for a fraction of the cost. It’s definitely a treasure of a place.

If Sauble is not convenient for you there are also 3 other locations: Guelph, Cambridge and Peterborough. I’ve never been to these other locations but if they’re as good as the Sauble one then they’re definitely worth visiting too. And if you’ve never been to Sauble Beach check out my article about it and find more cool stuff to do there. It’s a great chill beach vacation destination. Just make sure you don’t tell too many people about it because it’s really the hidden gem in Ontario!

I’m not a huge fan of orange but I fell in love with this cute orange bag I found a few summers ago and when I saw this rue21 orange/gray blouse I knew I had to have it. It’s just so unusual, airy and simply lovely. It’s a great top to wear to the office if you’re looking for that punch of bright color. This top was $25. I paired it with my Bluenotes skinny jeans and my Italian Shoemakers sandals. In Ontario you can find them at SoftMoc.

Can you believe this Tommy Hilfiger sweater was only $5? I kid you not. I was so psyched to find it. It’s super cute and warm for those cozy colder nights. It’s a great top to wear with your favorite jeans like these great Levi’s.

These dark wash Levi’s jeans were only $20. Seriously, I don’t remember the last time I found jeans for under $40 bucks. And forget about getting these at the Levi’s store for this price. Impossible. They’re stretchy, super comfy and soft to the touch. I paired them with my favorite gray tank top and my wicked Converse slip-on sneakers for that awesome casual look! They were available at SoftMoc a few years ago so not sure if they still have them. I adore them so much I bought two pairs and people still ask me about them so that was a great buy!

I just love this sheer brown multicolored top. It almost has that tie-dye look and it’s really cute with a tank top underneath. I like how unique this top looks. And it was under $15. I paired it with my Bluenotes skinny jeans and my Taos gladiator sandals, which I got at SoftMoc. Ready to hit the town.

If you know me you know that I’m a bit obsessed with skulls so I’m always on the lookout for a great skull top. This top definitely had my name on it. It’s a perfect casual with an edge kind of top and it goes great with jeans or military style shorts such as these. You’ll most likely find me running around the town sporting this look often.

I found this really soft white and gray animal print feminine top, which goes perfect with a cute skirt. It was only $7. I paired it with one of my comfy casual skirts and a small metallic purse. And the Italian Shoemakers sandals have the same color hues so that’s a perfect way to finish off the outfit.

Conclusion

As you can see there are many great outfits you can find at stores such as The Patch. You just need to get out there and go for a drive. Now that the weather is great it’s the perfect excuse to go for a road trip. So pack up some yummy lunch, grab your honey and hit the road.
