What’s In the FabFitFun Fall 2019 Box?

Here’s the lowdown on what I received in my FabFitFun Fall 2019 box. Your box might be slightly different but you will get the gist of what kind of things you should be expecting when you sign up for the membership.

FabFitFun Fall Box 2019

1. Harper + Ari Exfoliating Sugar Cubes in Juice Cleanse

Pros:

These pretty sugar cubes are a great way to exfoliate and cleanse yourself in the shower. All you do is take a single cube when showering or taking a bath and gently massage over wet skin. I found that they worked well in exfoliating my skin and left it feeling soft. They consist of notes of pineapple, kiwi and green apple that create a very soft and delicious scent.

Cons:

They’re just a bit tricky to use as you need to hold them in your hand while scrubbing. Otherwise, I think they’re great.

2. Cosmedix Pure C Vitamin C Mixing Crystals

Pros:

The idea of these Cosmetix Pure C Vitamin C mixing crystals is that you can add them to your regular face cream. This way you can supercharge your skincare and beauty routine with 100 % L-Ascorbic Acid (pure Vitamin C). These Vitamin C Mixing Crystals are supposed to help you maintain your skin’s flexibility and improve elasticity. I’ve only used them a few times so far so I’m curious to see if my skin improves with continued use.

Cons:

I had trouble opening the package. It said to ‘push’ in a specific spot but you really had to get a tool in order to get it to work. Once that was done the crystals came out fine.

3. Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Gold Eye Mask 6 Pack

Pros:

These are individually wrapped under-eye masks that are formulated to brighten, hydrate, and reduce the appearance of dark circles. They are made with Hyaluronic acid which delivers exceptional hydration to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Another neat aspect of these is that the Aloe leaf extract and lavender oil offer a cooling effect while soothing and calming the under-eye area. With these, you can feel safe because they’re also made without Parabens, Sulfates, and Phthalates. After using them I did notice less darkness under my eye area and less puffiness.

Cons:

I felt that they were just a tad slippery and had to press them into the skin so I would make sure they didn’t slip off. I felt that perhaps there might not be enough product on some of them. Some of the product seemed to stay in the wrapper.

4. Aveda Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair

Pros:

What I love about this Aveda product is the fact that it’s supposed to help repair damaged hair. Years of coloring my hair have made them brittle and prone to breakage. This product promises to reduce breakage by 90 percent in just 1 week. I’ve used it a few times and I’m liking it so far. It also helps to protect the hair against thermal damage up to 450 degrees. So it all sounds pretty good to me. I really enjoy the subtle scent it comes with as well.

Cons:

It contains Dimethicone which is a type of silicone that helps the product glide onto the skin. Some believe it may clog pores and contribute to acne but it’s up to you to find out whether it’s good for your skin or not.

5. Human + Kind Body Souffle

Pros:

This is a great light body moisturizer. It’s lightly whipped so it glides on smoothly and absorbs quickly. It has a subtle scent that isn’t too heavy to use all over your body.

Cons:

It also contains Dimethicone so it’s up to you to find out whether it’s good for your skin or not.

6. Anthropologie Travel Yoga Mat

Pros:

Who doesn’t need a spare travel yoga mat? Raise your hand. LOL. I definitely do. I have my usual yoga mat but I will save this one for when I travel. It’s easy to fold and store away. And it doesn’t take up too much room.

Cons:

The only issue with this item is that it’s made out of rubber and PVC. I’m trying to avoid using anything with PVC in it.

7. Twine Cheese Board with Plate

Pros:

This super cute cheese board comes with two serving knives and a ceramic removable plate. How adorable? It would make an awesome gift for someone if you can’t use it yourself.

Cons:

I find it’s a bit small to be a full cheeseboard but it’ll work for a small gathering.

8. Afterspa Hair Towel

Pros:

This is a handy hair towel you can use to dry your hair or while you have a hair mask on. It’s soft and durable from what I can see.

Cons:

I don’t see any problems with this item.
